...but that's my opinion as an elder beta tester. If you're not fond of RvR then you might not like this game, but I can't see how any MMO player could not like RvR.

I have heard that some members of the "press" have been allowed to share their experiences between Tiers 1 and 3. You might want to check on that.

Between all the testers I know, impressions of WAR are across the board as they should be. I don't think anyone is under the illusion WAR is the next coming, well except for Heartless and maybe Keen and Graev.

It's BRENT, who owns the site. And decides (so graciously) to let my RSS feed into his blog collection. And *gasp* he decides when and what to post here. So it's just one guy, his site, and his thoughts. Not a major corporation who went out and grabbed a pulitzer prize winning journalist to leave such a cryptic comment. Lord, starting to sound like I could be lumped in with Heartless_ as WAR Fanboi of the Year.

Let me go in a different direction.

Julie has her own section here. And she seems to be the polar opposite... along those lines, would you guys do a "He Said, She Said" review of WAR when the time comes?

I loved the one of VG and it's been far too long since another was done.

I'm enjoying reading all of these comments. It's great to see how everyone has their own personal take on WAR and the current game and beta situation. I know I for one can't wait to just check it out, hopefully through a beta invite, or at least when it launches.

I also second the motion to have a he said/she said type discussion on the game at launch. It would be great to see two different reviews on the game from opposite sides of the spectrum.

It's rather funny though, there are so many "reviews" out there on this game already, yet it's still under an NDA and it's still in Beta. I would prefer to base my final decision on the "finished" product. We all know how AoC turned out at launch, hopefully WAR doesn't go down that same road.

Don't get me wrong, I find AoC to be an extremely fun game, but it's still way too buggy and was not ready to be put out yet.

Long winded comment done. =p
