Digg.com has a slick new podcast listing and it is bringing a ton of new people into the podcasting audience. If you haven't dugg VirginWorlds yet, please do so. As you can see here, VirginWorlds is in excellent company. Let's make MOG and VW the top two in the list. As of this posting, they're number 11 and 12, nearly top 10!

Edit:
I see the numbers going up and down on digg.com and wondered why (6 hours after this screen shot MOG is at 223 and I'm 234). I went looking for details and here's what I found."Active Digging Technology
Like all democracies, Digg works best with ongoing participation. So we've added something called Active Digging Technology for the podcasting section.
If you Digg a podcast once but don't Digg again within two weeks, your Digg gets subtracted from the count. (It does not get removed from your profile.) However, as soon as you participate anywhere on the site, your initial Digg is returned to the count." So, I guess we keep digging.
But I also think this 'technology' hurts digg in a big way because it says, "keep using digg every day, or else we won't count your vote on anything." Not cool. |
