Some new (unpolished) website features

| Though there are some remaining uglies and missing pieces of information, I've decided to go ahead and rollout the new features that I've been working on. There are some additional related changes that will be made to the site soon, including a new footer section on the main page, but the basics are here. Some screen shots are missing and I've seen a few formating issues that I need to resolve, but seeing as there'll not be much site development this week with GDC and all I decided to go ahead and give you a look. You can find the new stuff on the menu under MMOs and Links. Feel free to post here to let me know what could be added/better/etc. Also, you'll note that on the final tab of the Links page there is an opportunity to add new links for review and addition to the list. Go ahead and add some things if you like. They will be subject to moderation to ensure proper categorization and to avoid duplicates, so do not fret if they do not appear immediately. Thanks for taking a look. [Edit: I made a mistake and had to disable all themes except the Eve Online one until I get a chance to fix it, sorry about that.] |

Well number one, you still have Vanguard listed as in Beta...
But two, you cant select a game that is in beta to add your resource as. For instance, I wanted to add Vanguard Radio's podcast as a resource, but couldnt because I couldnt find Vanguard in the list.

First, Vanguard Radio is already listed (http://virginworlds.com/mmo.php?g=58) and all existing items were added through the interface on the links page, so clearly I categorizes it under Vangaurd without issue. I'm not sure what you were looking at, but its all there. And yes, I'll update theVanguard beta thingy...eventually.

Q, Ithink I know why you're saying that. You're looking at the bottom of the main page. I haven't updated that to use the new links engine yet. That's why you don't see it there yet. The footer will be changing soon.

I'm thankful for your links to us, I'm not bitching about that or anything. The way I submitted the existing Vanguard Radio news items was through the News>Submit News interface.
I missed it earlier, I couldnt find Vanguard in the Links>Add Resources. Sorry for the misunderstanding...mustve been in a rush at the ime.
