'Looks like you made the first page...' by sifo Submitted on 2007-01-22 06:09:19 CST Looks like you are on the Digg - Games & Hobbies first page now... congratulations! Great show.
'Awesome' by darrenl Submitted on 2007-01-22 08:44:50 CST Great show Brent.
Love the Noob Experiment. Do you think the Mrs. will pick up one of these games after the whole ordeal? That would be the real interesting part of it.
...and dude...Eve Online??? You mean, mean man :)
'Gah - Nooby bit too short...' by scytale2 Submitted on 2007-01-22 17:01:51 CST You keep us at bated breath for a whole week for the EQ2 instalment of Noobville Arizona and then gems come flying out of Jenny's mouth and it's over....for another week.
Favourite quote "It's ok to kill the goblin guys because they're not real..." - game designers make note - Most players don't like killing wolves and bears but goblins are fair game.
Voice in quests - I've not heard the arguments for not putting in voice? Surely voice is the way forward? "It adds another sense...." I quote...
I think we need a Part 7 - SWG
Also perhaps a Part 8 (9, 10) with some Noob comments on:
a) Grouping
b) Crafting
c) PvP (unless covered in GW)
Lastly, the guy with the Rappelz review deserves a medal for putting it all together and awarding it 1/10 or was it 2/10?
'Jenny's too short! (Errr.....How tall is she..........?)' by Floss Submitted on 2007-01-23 09:29:33 CST Brent, great cast again.
Only one whine, Jenny's N00b section was waaaaaay too short!
I have to agree with scytale2 - killing goblins is ok because they are not real? WTF?
You have explained about code, electrons and phosphorescent screens I take it? ;-)
Also, could you post when Jenny and yourself will be doing the EVE n00b test? I would love to swing by and say hi and I'm sure others would too.
Excellent review on Rappelz, very detailed. Although I thought he gave it 1 out of 3 not 1 out of 10.
Cheers,
Floss.

'Keeps getting better' by hughnme Submitted on 2007-01-23 23:20:31 CST Congrats on your digg rating Brent, well deserved I recon, also the noob bit with your better half was a highlight, great rapplez review as well.
Id love to have someone do a “almost noob’ experiment, I know it sounds daft however Id put myself in that catagory, played a bit, but still a noob to macro’s,raiding, crafting, ect.
sytale2 mentioned crafting, man,I’m currently 2 weeks into eq2,its hard to learn I think.
Come on people, more diggs for the podcast, its just not right VW being below those mogarmy ratbags
'This podcast is the best' by Burro Submitted on 2007-01-23 23:57:26 CST this podcast is way way better then any other mmo podcast. The Noob experiment is the "third generation" of podcast segments. Also Minnesota is the best state.
'yay!' by Brent Submitted on 2007-01-25 10:01:48 CST Once again the Noob Experiment seems to be a hit.
Here's the good news. The Eve Online experiment was completed in the lab last night and it is not what you might expect. Very surprising responses and impressions from the noob this week.
(And Burro... even though I've never lived anywhere else, I'm starting to think MN is too fricking cold)
'really?' by darrenl Submitted on 2007-01-25 10:12:17 CST Intriguing Brent...most intriguing...
