Oops, it isn't show 100 yet, but here's a good show where Brent covers some listener mail and a handful of other random topics.
'OH MY GOD !!!' by Ammon777 Submitted on 2008-01-21 13:01:34 CST Four hours ?!?!?
AWESOME !!!
I cant wait. :-D
'Is it a dry or steamer one?' by Akely Submitted on 2008-01-21 18:58:39 CST SAUNA:
Nice! Works well. But you need to hook up with a Finn, because you're all pronouncing it wrong! ;.) (There must be a Finn who reads this who can send an mp3, right?) Also looking forward to the HOT PadCast where you actually have the heat on.
100:
Looking forward to show 100! I'll try to take some time to mail some nice/interesting music recommendations or clips.
Me = Poor:
Also very happy for VirginWorlds that so many people can spare money for the show. I will when I can!
'Oh the horror!' by Grimwell Submitted on 2008-01-21 20:27:23 CST Podcasting in a sauna... that's rough :)
Don't feel bad about not finding your sweet spot in EQII yet, keep coming back from time to time and take new looks.EQII isn't a game where you have to hit the high levels anyway, the game changes subtly as you go up the levels, and the high end is not the sweet spot for every player...
I'm guilty of rerolling characters almost monthly myself, because I get charged up about new ideas. :P
'Oh the Humanity!' by Shalimar616 Submitted on 2008-01-22 07:09:05 CST I dearly hope that the sauna is not operational during your recording? The only worse thought of prized electronics in a high pressure steamy room, is the thought of Brent in a towel -- and nothing else!!
Hehe, sounds quality is excellent.
Cheers!

'TR Community' by Shawn Submitted on 2008-01-22 07:10:50 CST Brent mentioned an email asking about a good TR community, and ironically I do discuss that a bit in my latest TabulaCast released today
Try out www.planettr.com as a starting point for a community, because they are the hub forum for everything TR. They also have their own clan called Invictus, which is quite large.
Tell 'em Shawn sent ya!
'Good show as usual.' by Token Submitted on 2008-01-22 10:53:51 CST Recommending The Instance was right on the money. They are so far ahead of the other shows Blizzard are crazy for not getting a partnership going with those guys.
'bloodlines' by Brent Submitted on 2008-01-22 19:59:07 CST Yeah, the heat stays off when I'm podcasting. I'm pretty happy with that setup though it seemed to work pretty well. And by the way, I am Finnish...by name and blood. Only one quarter though. The other three quarters are Slovenian. No apparent relation to Transylvanian by the way, and not Italian as some weirdos seem to think. My technical inclinations seem to indicate more Finnish influence than Slovenian though I don't resemble a single Finn I've ever met... the mysteries of the genes. And that concludes the "more info that you needed section". And contrary to popular belief, I say sauna properly - the rest of you are mistaken. :)
'EQ2 Sweet Spot' by Brent Submitted on 2008-01-22 20:00:13 CST The sweet spot for me in EQ2 is when I'm in the expansion beta tests and get to roll as a fully equipped level 70 bruiser. THAT I did enjoy. No doubt about it.
'Thanks..' by LealaTurkey Submitted on 2008-01-22 23:22:59 CST ... for the recommendation Brent. =)
The Instance is a great show and I would happily take even a fraction of their listeners. haha
'EQ2 Isn't Bad to Jump In' by RadarX Submitted on 2008-01-23 11:27:33 CST Most of my friends are much higher level in Rise of Kunark than me but I was able to jump in easily at level 70 and enjoy the new content. I can see how level 30ish might be a little challenging but EoF really has some great zones. EQ2 is a good game to pop in and out especially if you keep in touch with people you play with.
'huh?' by Brent Submitted on 2008-01-23 11:33:41 CST 'jump in easily at level 70"
o . k .
:)
'well...' by Ammon777 Submitted on 2008-01-23 16:37:20 CST Well... I have finally made the decision to leave World of Warcraft forever and jump into Everquest 2 for the first time. This podcast kinda influenced the decision a bit. I also play EVE Online so I will be playing EVE + EQ2 now. I will prolly start listening to the EQ podcast here now, lolololol.
BTW the Warcraft podcast in this Collective entirely mysteriously vanished a while ago, whats with that??? No explanation? maybe i missed it.
'sorry' by Ammon777 Submitted on 2008-01-24 22:04:26 CST Im sorry, i didnt mean to sound rude. I guess Warcraft Chronicle guys just decided to stop podcasting, no biggie.
'Oh they're still podcasting' by d1551d3nt Submitted on 2008-01-25 13:24:21 CST No, the Warcraft Chronicle people are still podcasting but they don't seem to be mentioning The Collective nor it them. They seem to be really eratic lately with their releases and Mark, their leader, has been asking people to email him with thoughts on whether they should keep doing the podcast and whether or not people are listening. In the last release he claimed he had 3000 people who responded which is just an astronomical number to me, for their show. I'm not saying I don't believe him but...well, maybe I don't believe him. I mean, if only a fraction of his listeners actually took the time to write in, which seems about normal for podcast listners, then he has a huge listnership for a show that has been really inconsistent for months. I find it kind of weird.
'hmm...' by Ammon777 Submitted on 2008-01-25 15:26:55 CST Well I hope that other doesnt happen to any of the other podcasts, they are all excellent. :-/

'by the way' by Ammon777 Submitted on 2008-01-25 20:56:12 CST I cant figure out how to comment on news links so...
I was pissed off today when I got my email from Fury calling me a loser. Thats upset me, I cant believe those tards actually think that would cause me to play their defunct piece of garbage game.
