'What a hoot' by Shalimar616 Submitted on 2007-09-05 15:38:04 CST As a old fuddy-duddy grandpa, I simply loved the show.
Kids got it easy today with all this fancy-dancy internets, podcasts, computers, and MMOs
When I was a lad, we had none of those things....just give me a handful of dice, greesy potatoe chips, and 8 rulesbooklets -- each 400 page thick and lets party! Those were the days! Here is to my 18th level Fighter, Magic User, Thief, with his +7 Holy Avenger and, of course, my ring of endless wishes!!!

'Back in my day...' by Psyik Submitted on 2007-09-07 01:19:55 CST ... We didn't play MMOs on these fancy high-speed internets and these fancy dual-core processors. We had a 36.6 dial-up modem and an Intel 66 and we loved every second of it!
I loved that opening. I felt exactly like that just the other day; I was talking to my young cousins a few days ago, telling them about how I played UO 10 years ago. They grew up with their fancy PC and their 8-million-man MMO and their carebear-hugs-PVP...
I'm really looking forward to the next episode.
'Pshhh' by Shawn Submitted on 2007-09-13 08:35:15 CST 36.6 dial-up? Why, when I was a wee boy, we had a 1200 baud modem and we connected to local BBSes on a green monochrome screen to play Legend of the Red Dragon and we liked it! And this was in high school!
I really liked this episode, and the whole idea especially. I missed out on Everquest because I was poor back then, but its really cool hearing about it. I'll certainly be tuning into the next episode(s).
