Yeah I like that game too, my characters saying was "You've been a bad girl Miss Liberty, now go to my roon!" yeah she is hot! I'm sure I'll play it again in the future along with TR.

About the Immersion project for TR

Woops I clicked the button too soon, :) and thank you for your kind words.

So yeah, my family even thinks the drawing is really cool, and how I got it, so far I got the jpg and I showed them that.

I was told it would be going on the Flickr gallery but I do not know that link yet so here one is for now.

About the immersion project in TR, I think it IS probably a little harder to think about how to do it in TR but that’s ok, it is just because we are all mostly remembering fantasy type games I’m sure.

One thing is then it does make it more interesting to think of new ways to do it, so in that way it is a good thing in my eyes.

So I like being able to shut off the radar and then I got scarred hearing the enemy around me and not know exactly were they were, lol. It’s true though hahaha.

I do read all the missions and pretend it is real and maybe mostly do one at a time depending, I have not hooked up the sound to my tower speakers with the 15†woofers yet but that is next.

Ok so let me see I’m trying to think of something that would be a way of immersion related to Sci-Fi, hmmm… I can see team Clans of AFS vying for higher positions in the AFS like the owned control points bring more immersive, but not thinking of game changes I will say how about one thing to do would be to turn off the way points being on all the time, it is challenging and fun to find the clues of were things are by finding it in the mission text. I have seen the clues they give you. I do not think even with technology we would always know were something was to use our gps type systems, and besides it seems the bane mother ship would know out the satellites sometimes

And that reminds me how about when you take over the planet you then get the gps working and if the bane take it over then the waypoints no longer work?.

Over and out, FarSpace

I've been thinking of different ways to do it in TR. Being in a sci-fi setting does allow for chats and stuff, but there are many ways to do it.

I will write a bunch down, and hope I can make some sense if I ever am able to be a guest! :)

The one thing TR REALLY has going for it is the environments. They are so distinct and stand out, and the landmarks are very notcieable.

Having said all that, there is no reason you could not roleplay a person that IS lost, or that does not have access to chats, like a loner or a hermit...dunno, will have to think about it.

I would love to come on the show, you already chatted me 'bout it. But honestly I would feel like I sounded stupid because of your damn nice ACCENTS!! You never even say UHM....or is it ERM.

See ya guys soon!

Just like to agree with the quality of service by the TR GMs...we were out and about a while ago and my friend had a problem with a Lamna Armoury mission, I think - didn't complete. Petitioned it, and got a reply in less than a minute, and the problem resolved just as quickly.

Possibly the best and most responsive support I've seen in *any* MMO. Bravo!
