Hello, Xndyr here. I'm the author of myUI. I thought I would
respond to a few of your comments about my UI MOD. You mentioned two
specific complaints about the mod, and while I fully understand that
not every player will like a given MOD, I thought you might want to
know that your two comments are actually already addressed in myUI.
the
XP bar has always been something you could toggle on or off, it's a
feature of the default UI, and while I "skinned" the XP bar, it's still
referenced by the same name (window/xml object name) as the default, so
you can turn it off in the same manner--if you go to the game "Options"
window, and click on the interface tab, there is a toggle about halfway
down the list to turn on/off the XP bar. This will hide it.
Likewise
the player stats gauge in the upper left corner can also be turned off,
by going in to the myUI Settings control pannel. On the first tab where
you turn off the background image you can also hide that gauge. True,
it's not something that is movable (although I could add that as an
option), the encounter HUD will always show your health gauge along
side of the offensive target health gauge, so if a player didn't like
having that gauge in the upper left corner they could turn it off.
Thanks for checking out myUI though, and for the possitive comments :)

Nice podcast, you two. I'm a bit disappointed that they had to yank Dresla. For those working on the Wyvern mount quest, that is a major setback. My guild tried to take out Nerksawl 2 weeks ago. That was the last time I saw him.

I FOUND HIM, and killed him. I guess he was just taking forever to spawn.

IF none have said this yet, you have a voice made for listening to. I am happy you are part of this podcast - you and Beau make it an incredible listening experience for totally different reasons.
love,

I can't comment on Nerksawl spawnig but I spent some time in Qalia tonight and that guy just wouldn't shut up. Anyway, fun show. The maps are an awesome addition to your Immersion Project, Beau. SInce I've started playing (not even a month ago) I've been mostly using the cloth map I got with the collectors set but I never thought of printing out copies to write on and make notes. Thats an killer idea. Luper..well said. That was an honest and viseral rant about exploits. Many folks that do engage in exploits will often mock others for not using the exploits. The reasons are varied in my experience but it seems most revolve around the honest people being stupid for not doing it and the exploiters being oh -so-smart for tricking the programming. Whatever. In my opinion it is the smart AND honest people that are getting the most out of the game in most cases. I believe they will use the resources intended to be at their desposal and not try to manipulate resources outside the game to win. The upside is that the cheaters usually get bored with their accelerated progress and move on to ruin other game experiences, so there IS that. Great music Beau. Please tell your friend it is appreciated. It kind of reminded me of the weird ambient stuff Mike Patton put out many years back. It's also great to see another Megadeth fan out there copper 8). Looking forward to the next 'cast.

Nerksawl is pretty chatty! I think it's cute though. He runs around saying he wants little tiny things to eat. Makes me *giggle*.
I do agree, Mashidin. Players who are candid will always have a better reputation than anyone who cheats, hacks, and exploits to get things done.
