You are about the only person I know who still plays STO, so how is it? I get the feeling you don't want to talk about it too much beyond the fangirl stuff. I think Cataclysm will overshoot the summer so I need something else to do. Last year I tried Warhammer and it was quite good, might try Conan this year seeing as they have an expansion...

Well as you will hear in show 59 (assuming it gets posted or you listen to our other itunes feed) I play other mmos as well. My MMOs of choice are currently (in this order) Eve Online, Lord of the Rings Online, Star Trek Online and somewhere in the back ground with a cursor hovering over the "close account" button World of Warcraft. In fact I have a lifetime subscription to STO and haven't regretted it. Hopefully it will turn out as well as my LOTRO lifetime sub which has long since paid for itself.
More than anything else STO is the star trek experience. If you are a fan you will find yourself immersed in an episode. I have found the PvP to be a very enjoyable experience, especially since they added Federation vs. Federation wargames.
There are other games that I would play, but the gaming budget only goes so far.
