In this episode, we talk a bit about adopting children, what little
news we've heard about what's coming up in Book 11, and answer some questions about housing.
Alusian discusses some of the effects recent
changes have had on gameplay, while Sinaea confides why she doesn't
like fishing and explains why you shouldn't act like a little (CENSORED)
in-game.
'Yay.' by Mirage Submitted on 2007-09-08 21:16:14 CST Another great show, even better without Kal! Just kidding! Well, I've been playing one of those 7-day free trials, and I love this game. I'm only level 10, but running around Bree-Land is really fun. Especially everytime I try to snatch the barrel of Pipe-weed from those silly Blackwolds and get killed. Since I've got a small fortune built up here in real life, I'm going to use it to fund my journey of Middle-Earth, so don't be suprised if I start playing the game for large amounts of time. Hope to see the next show up soon, and while you plodd down the dirt roads, or through the bustling town of Bree, or wherever you go, don't be surpised to hear a little humming and singing along the way, since all roads come together, and all the Free-Peoples unknowingly travel the same road to the same destination...
'The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with weary feet,
Until it joins some larger way,
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.'
'Nice!' by DDOcast Submitted on 2007-09-10 08:22:03 CST Hiya - just checked out the show for the first time and wanted to say that I really liked it! Nice work. Good music, production, etc. Keep it up!
'umm....ouch?!' by elvenassassin Submitted on 2007-09-15 15:16:55 CST Okay, I have to say that I think the show is somewhat better then it was...
I have nothing against Brad and Elizabeth when they did the cast but I have a hard time listening to someone who talks with quite that strange of accent...so your voice Sinaea is much easier on the ears.
....the music...all I can say is ouch....if there wasn't a fast-forward button on my ipod i probably would smashed it to pieces..
...and last, who the **** is this Alusian poser? I started listening at like episode 6 and everything was great, but then out of nowhere someone hits me with a rock....
'Alusian FTW.' by Mirage Submitted on 2007-09-15 15:58:47 CST Hey man, watch what you say about Alusian. I might have to hunt you down and pound the life out of you. He's cool, and indirectly my friend...we used to play Guild Wars together. And speaking of rocks, I swear I'll crush your innards by having you swallow the boulder. So just fast forward past Alusian if you hate him so much, you 'my iPod has a fast forward button'.
'Easy Mirage' by Alusian Submitted on 2007-09-21 19:41:03 CST Whoa man, don't take his head off. But thanks for the back up.
Elvenassassin, I have no problem with you taking an opinion up of me or disliking my segment. Call me a poser, whatever. I don't have a problem with that. I get worse names shot at me at school. I'm always open to criticism, and if you do have something wrong with what I say on the podcast, write me an email and address the issue. I want to know so that my next segment can be better. The whole point of me recording the segments is not just to here my own voice. I'm trying to help people do better and learn more about the game. If you have something that you think I should do differently, please do not hesitate to point it out to me. I won't get upset.
That goes for anyone. My email is open to anyone who wants to talk to me about the podcast. Please do not hesitate to email me. I won't just delete everything in my inbox.
'@ elvenassassin' by Noromi Submitted on 2007-09-22 07:13:02 CST Seriously, watch what you say. So basically you hate a podcast because people don't sound like what you're used to hearing people sounding like. Seriously I don't think you can do it better than them. I almost never give (constructive) criticism unless I can do it better.
'Thanks for the honorable mention Alusian' by ArtphulDodger Submitted on 2007-09-24 11:32:14 CST Just listened to #10..and btw Jennuin is pronounced Genuine..no biggie.
I wrote that bio for her while killing crawlers in the cave outide of Rivendell. I always look for things to do other than mindlessly grind. It helps.
Great show. And dont let the folks who always want to compare apples and oranges get you down. Different is good.

..also ..Game music would be fine, imho. But whatever, Shawn has broadened my taste before, so its possible you can.
'Accent ?' by Brad Submitted on 2007-09-25 10:52:18 CST Well, glad our accent offended someone, since most of the southeastern US talks that way. As the late Lewis Grizzard said - "God talks like we do". Thats one thing I always enjoyed about podcasts is their flavor, you get a person's accents, nuances, etc - not some bland plain voice thats been trained to have no accent. Even to my ears, Sinaea and Alusian have an accent, but I don't really think anything of it - maybe its my years of talking with folks all across the world via ham radio, or where I deal with folks across the US for the company I work for, who knows.
