This week's Super Joystiq Podcast loves a good turkey warble sound effect.

Happy Thanksgiving/Black Friday/regular Friday! We are here to talk games --and Harry Potter-- but mostly games. Ludwig, Susan, Richard, and Anthony convene to discuss the recent trend of games not working as intended at launch, the lovely Persona Q, the not lovely Escape from Dead Island, and TellTale's take on Borderlands.

This week's Super Joystiq Podcast is having trouble finding Kyrat on Google Maps Mapquest.

Another week in November means another week of big releases. Ubisoft is back seeking reception with another open-world game with Far Cry 4-thankfully, this one seems to have turned out a bit better than its France-set label sibling. Ludwig, Xav, Mike, and Earnest cover plenty more as well, including GTA V for Xbox One and PS4, WWE 15, Assassin's Creed: Rogue, and Pokemon Omega Ruby / Alpha Sapphire.

This week's Super Joystiq Podcast is your #1 source for Captain Toad/Lethal Weapon cross-over talk.

They don't get much bigger than this folks. There are more big games on the way, but here we have two huge ones in the same week. Join Anthony, Susan, Alexander, and Danny on a review odyssey, from hugely disappointing to incredible, two-and-a-half to five stars, Assassin's Creed: Unity to Dragon Age: Inquisition. Also, Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley, and the nearly extinct "art" of deliberate obtuseness in game design.

The arrival of Kevin Spacey in video game for can mean only one thing-- the barrage of big fall releases has begun. Join Ludwig, Richard, Anthony, and Danny as they cover Halo: The Master Chief Collection at length. Call of Duty is also back in advanced form, and is yet another fine choice for the discerning first-person player. And finally, Anthony and Danny discuss Freedom Wars, which apparently is not a first-person shooter, weird.

This week's Super Joystiq Podcast is the exaggerated things you love about all other podcasts.

Bayonetta 2 proved to be one of the best games of the year so far, and there is plenty more to say about it. This week, Ludwig, Susan, Anthony, and Earnest talk the sexuality of Bayonetta, and why The Evil Within isn't as successful as we would have hoped. Ludwig also checks in with stories of his time with Far Cry 4-- and surprise, surprise, it sounds amazing. Susan touches on The Devil's Attorney, and the whole big show closes on a showstopper, the board game Clue.

Destiny roundtable with Joystiq on Google and Twitch, plus an Xbox One stream

Destiny makes bold claims right in the title. Bungie named its game after inevitability! While only time will tell if the studio's bold experiment in blending its signature shooter fundamentals with a decade of MMO evolution has produced a classic, Destiny is certainly unavoidable in the gaming world this week. After pouring hours into the game since the servers went live on Monday morning, the Joystiq team is ready to reflect on the game's first days. How does Destiny feel on last gen consoles? What's it like to review a game like this? Are there any hiccups in service? We'll cover it all.

The staff will host a Google Hangout starting at 2:30PM EST. Want to chat with the crew? Follow along on Google Plus, right here in this post, or at Joystiq.com/Twitch.

Following the roundtable, Joystiq's Jess Conditt will be streaming the Xbox One version of Destiny.

Also, if you'd like to get your hands on an absolutely free copy of Destiny, we're giving some of those away right now!
