This week's Super Joystiq Podcast refuses to believe the apartment in Friends doesn't really exist.

We've somehow managed to rip our hearts and minds away from Bungie's monopolization of the gaming conversation for a week. Ludwig, Jess, Mike, and Anthony convene to talk some of the smaller games, and we've traded one beta for another. Tune in to hear about The Crew beta, the latest episode of The Walking Dead, and the brutal Gods Will Be Watching. Mike shares his thoughts on the Sunless Sea, and the group laments (and celebrates) the ever-shifting release dates of the seasons coming titles.

This week's Super Joystiq Podcast has totally nailed the episodic format.

It may be international Destiny Beta week, but why not give the Pat Benatar a rest for a couple hours and educate yourself on video games while destroying those Fallen? This week, Ludwig, Susan, Jess, and Sam talk "WOW-killer" Wildstar, Nintendo games from E3, The Wolf Among Us finale, Dragon Age: Inquisition, and the benefits of being inclusive. Diversity in games likely means more of what you want, not less-- except we were going to exclusively reveal Rockstar's next big title on this very show, but we swapped it out for this conversation.*

This week's Super Joystiq Podcast is thinking about bringing a classic theme song back as a pre-order bonus.

Real, true, big games. Sorry Willy Beamish. Ludwig, Xav, Alexander, and Sinan convene to cover the week's big release, classic-style computer role-playing game Divinity: Original Sin. The guys also talk about their excitement at word of the original Alien cast returning for Alien: Isolation DLC, and Xav shares some thoughts on Star Citizen after putting some time into the dogfighting module. And if that's not enough, here are some non game-specific topics in-store: discussion of the top 10 games of the past decade feature, lamenting of broken Obsidian RPGs, appreciation for good voice acting, and so much more!

Happy America Day! Join true American Ludwig, along with Richard, Jess, Anthony, and Danny to discuss the cultural phenomena of adventure games-- and zombies. Modern games such as Moebius and Gods Will Be Watching get some time, but this show is really about the real classics, like King's Quest V and The Adventure of WIlly Beamish. The crew also digs into some of the rough cuts from the forthcoming top ten games of the past decade feature.

It really did need to be done, because the week's releases are literally figuratively scary. This week's Super Joystiq Podcast only accepts greeting cards that play a song when you open them.

Is there really any better way to start a Valentine's Day gaming podcast than with an in-depth discussion on greeting cards? This week, Ludwig, Susan, and Anthony talk mostly games, some Nintendo, and dare to cover the ever-controversial topic of tissue paper-lined holiday greeting cards. We know it can be a heated topic, so if you do feel the need to discuss greeting cards in the comments, just make sure to keep it as civil as possible, and strive to listen to others' point of view. We don't want a repeat of the great 2001 greeting card comment war.*

Oh right, games! The show is packed with games too! Susan shares her thoughts on Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc's inability to commit, Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII gets flowers AND candy, and Ludwig spills some details of a recent date with Infamous: Second Son. Nintendo made some news this week with its latest Nintendo Direct, and there seems have been some questionable choices made surrounding the approach to free-to-play-- we may be in need of a serious talk about this relationship.

Happy Valentine's Day, lovebirds!
