PCGamer takes a look at Wurm Online in their latest review giving the game a score of 68 out of 100. While appreciating the innovation that game brings to the genre and taking into account it was released in 2006, the biggest grip was the steep learning curve and the amount of grinding needed to be done to accomplish anything. The latest update to TERA is going live on servers on Feb 5th, but today we have the official patch notes which includes changes to just about everything. A new preview trailer for StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm features new social features coming to BattleNet. Improved interface, better chat, the ability to create clans and social groups and a new feature called "players near you" which lists players near your physical location. SC2 players will also now be able to play against players globally regardless of what region they are located it.
Origins Of Malu beta is being pushed back until March 30th due to delays in development, however in a January update letter to the community, there will be no further delays. For those interested in signing up to the closed beta, you'll have to wait until the end of February with only 20,000 beta keys being given.

Last year the Court of Justice of the European Union ruled that trading of “used” software licenses was legal and publishers could not prohibit customers from doing so. It also ruled that publishers must allow customers a system to buy, sell or trade if it was digitally downloaded software. Valve's Steam currently has no system to allow the sale or trading of digital games, so The Federation of German Consumer Organizations is suing Valve over this matter.

Heroes Of Newerth version 3.0 is now live. The update introduces bots to the game which allows players to test or practice without going into a ranked match. The update also provides players with the bot coding so programmers will be able to edit or even create their own bots to practice against. ArenaNet will be testing a new PvP tournament system on the Temple of the Silent Storm map from January 28 until February 4th. MMOReviews.com takes a look at the mech shooter Hawken which is still currently in open beta. With stunning graphics, fast-paced combat and lots of mechs to choose from, Hawken got a review score of 8.3 out of 10 with the only major complaint being the lack of maps, but that might change once the game fully launches.

It's safe to say that League of Legends is currently the biggest eSport in the world, but that's doesn't mean their isn't any need to evolve eSports into an even bigger market.
